"इंडिया टुडे" के अनुसार, ऐप्पल वॉच अल्ट्रा के सायरन फ़ंक्शन के कारण मुंबई में एक गोताखोर को खतरनाक पानी के नीचे की स्थिति से बचाया गया था। यह घटना इस गर्मी में हुई जब 26 वर्षीय क्षितिज ज़ोडापे भारत के पांडिचेरी के पास बंगाल की खाड़ी में गोता लगा रहे थे। जब उन्होंने लगभग 36 मीटर (लगभग 120 फीट) की गहराई तक गोता लगाया, तो उनका वजन बेल्ट अचानक गिर गया। इससे न केवल उसे गोता लगाना जारी रखने से रोका गया, बल्कि वह नियंत्रण से बाहर होकर तेजी से समुद्र की सतह की ओर बढ़ने लगा।
